How to install Office apps on a Chromebook: Open the Google Play Store and search for the apps you want to install. Or you can click on any of these links to download a specific app: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, OneNote, Office Lens, or Microsoft Teams. Install the Office apps on your computer or mobile device, and confirm you have the latest versions. Get back to all your Office documents, regardless of where they’re stored, including Word documents, Excel workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, OneNote notebooks, Visio drawings, and Sways. Discover relevant apps, features, and content based. From the top of the page, select Services and subscriptions and on that page find the Office product you want to install and select Install. To install Office in a different language, or to install the 64-bit version, select the link Other options. Choose the language and bit version you want, and then select Install.

Install Microsoft Office Online

  1. Go to the admin center at https://admin.microsoft.com, and sign in with global admin credentials.

  2. Go to Setup in the left navigation pane, and on the Setup page, scroll to Apps and updates.

    Note

    You might not see this card if all of your users have installed Office apps.

  3. On the Help users install their Office apps card, choose View, and then Get started.

  4. On the Email users a link to download Office panel, select the users you want to email, and then Email selected users.
