Hello and good morning fellas.
My problem started like this:
I switched from Radious to DEI, because i really wanted a more challenging gameplayexperience.
I am also a huge fan of the 'All Hellenic Buildings For All Hellenic Factions' - Mod and didn't want to miss it even with DEI.
The modauthor says that his mod is compatible with DEI, but i now played two campaigns and i'm not able to build eg. the Great Library with Athens (you get the picture, i couldn't build the Akropolis with Sparta, etc.).
So i thought maybe it's because the loadorder is wrong? So i installed the Mod Manager, chose a loadorder that should work just fine and tried to started Rome II.
When i click on 'Launch' Steam gives me the message (this is now freely translated into english ): 'Startin Rome II with the parameter '1', click cancel if you didn't intend this.' So, obviously, i clicked on okay and the original launcher shows up, everything is the same, except the fact that the button for mods is missing.
So then i click on 'play' and nothing happens.
The launcher closes and the game won't start, i searched in the Task Manager, not even the process starts.
If i start the game regularly everything works, except that i can't build the hellenic buildings, because, i think, the loadorder is messed up.
I searched for two hours straight now, but couldn't find a solution to this problem as my game doesn't crash or anything like that, it just won't start if i use Mod Manager.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Greetings from rainy Germany.
P.S Sorry if this is the wrong Subforum, i didn't know where to put my question.
